Webb School

Webb School was a one-room schoolhouse for African-American students located in the Blackwater district of Franklin County. It was built on a concrete foundation, and it was heated with a stove. The building did not have electricity, running water, or indoor plumbing. Virginia Simpson was a teacher at the school. The structure of the building has evolved over the years, and it survives as a private residence to this day.
