Truevine School
The first Truevine School was a one-room schoolhouse for African-American students near the Snow Creek area of Franklin County. It was built on a stone foundation. The school did not have electricity, plumbing, or indoor bathrooms. Mattye Harmen was a teacher at this school. The second Truevine School was built a few miles away. It was a brick building.
