Penhook School

Penhook School was a one-room schoolhouse for white students in the Union Hall district of Franklin County. The school was built on a stone foundation, and it was heated with a stove. It did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Sara B. Perdue, Ruby Allman, and Mary Goggin were teachers at the school.
