Laurel Bluff School

Laurel Bluff School was a one-room schoolhouse for white students near the Shooting Creek community in western Franklin County. The school was built on a stone foundation, and it was heated with a stove. The building did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Diamond Boyd and Irene Nolen were teachers at the school.
