Historic High Schools

For the past 53 years (and counting), Franklin County has been served by a single high school, Franklin County High School. In this section, we highlight the high schools that preceded FCHS. As of 2023, three of these schoolhouses (Henry, Ferrum, and Boones Mill) are still standing.
