Hannabas School
Hannabas School was a two-room schoolhouse for black students in the Boone district of Franklin County. The school was built with a concrete foundation, and it was heated with a stove. It did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Maudine Holland was a teacher at the school. By 1937, only one of the two rooms was in use as a school.
