Glade School

Glade School was a one-room schoolhouse for white students located in the Blackwater district of Franklin County. The school was built with a stone foundation, and it was heated with a stove. It did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Eula Mae Edwards was a teacher at the school.
