Fork Mountain School

Fork Mountain School was a one-room schoolhouse for black students in the Snow Creek district. It was included on a topographical map of Franklin County that was produced by the United States Geological Survey in 1925. When the USGS produced a similar map two years later, the school was no longer listed. Note that a nearby school for white students was also called Fork Mountain School.
