Fork Mountain School
Fork Mountain School was a one-room schoolhouse for white students in the Snow Creek district of Franklin County. The school was built on a stone foundation, and it was heated with a stove. The building did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Mayshie Luke and C. C. Ramsey were teachers at the school. Note that a nearby school for black students was also called Fork Mountain School.
