Cooper’s Cove School

Cooper’s Cove School was a two-room schoolhouse for white students located in the Gills Creek district of Franklin County. The school was built with a concrete foundation, and it was heated with a stove. It did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. T. O. Adkins, Alice Bennett and Mildred Garland were teachers at the school.
