Ephesus School

Ephesus School was a one-room schoolhouse for black students near the Union Hall area of Franklin County. The school was constructed in 1926. It was built on a concrete foundation, and it was heated with a stove. The building did not have electricity, running water, or indoor restrooms. Ewell Hopkins was a teacher there.
